We had been looking for our first home and we couldn't find anything that suited us, until we saw a listing in Trade Me from Highmark. We looked around the area and compared prices with other build companies. We noticed that we got more and better quality for less than what other build companies were offering. We rang up Ingrid and set a meeting. We discussed everything and even with COVID, there was never an issue. Ingrid helped us find a mortgage broker and lawyer as we didn't know much about buying a house. Chris and Jason got back to us quickly about paperwork and build procedures. Once all the paperwork was signed and the build began, it was such as smooth and easy process. When there were changes to be made communication was quick and easy. We highly recommend Highmark to everyone; we hand out Ingrid’s number every time someone says that want a new home. We are over the moon about our brand new built home and when it comes time to build our forever home, we will be using Highmark to build it for us. The house design we were looking for was a classic kiwi style house that would maximize the sea views from our section. The team at Highmark Homes designed and built our house in an organized and professional manner with no hassle and very easy to deal with. We built our home with Highmark Homes and we could not be happier. From the time we first stepped into the show home in Papamoa and talked to Audrey (who was fantastic) to the time we moved in, it all went very smoothly. They built our house on a section we bought and built it through the winter months and at the end we were only two days behind the schedule that they had set out. We were absolutely blown away with the care and attention shown to our build by Shaun, Highmark BOP Building Supervisor. There are small things that Shaun paid careful attention to, and has corrected, that we wouldn't of noticed until later. The professional, detailed touch shines right throughout the house. As we visited site with him, we were elated at how the place looked, it was tidy, safe and trades involved were pleasant and so helpful. All this through a global pandemic!

Highmark Homes provided a comprehensive level of service throughout the full build process. Progress was easy to follow with the Buildertrend APP which included important information such as timelines, costs, and photos. Staff had their specific functions which created a great build experience and those outside the company (I.e. electricians) were welcoming and helpful when various decisions needed to be made or consulted on. The build was completed in a timely fashion.
